World Forum on the Future of Democracy
September 16-18, 2007

The World Forum on the Future of Democracy is the culminating event in the commemoration of America's 400th Anniversary honoring Jamestown, Virginia, as America's first permanent English settlement. The final conference in a year-long series brought together international and national scholars on democracy, as well as leading government officials, political practitioners, and advocates and commentators who have played a role in democracy's advance. The three-day event featured addresses, panel presentations, and discussion groups.

You can be a part of the historic World Forum. Through this site you can watch conference video and and discover what world leaders, scholars, and political thinkers envision as the future of the democracy. Then join the discussion in the iCitizenForum.
