"My Millinery shop is full of goods
and fashions imported from England. If the politicians
adopt a non-importation protest because of this affair
in Boston I will not be able to import goods to sell
in my shop. If I cannot sell imported goods, I cannot
make a living and suppose that I will have to return
to England until Liberty of Importation is once again
allowed in Virginia."
