Can I drive to the Institute?
You’ve listed three airports. Which one is the best?
We recommend participants fly into Richmond International Airport
because it has the most flight and ground transportation
options to Williamsburg, although it is nearly an hour away from
Colonial Williamsburg. Newport News-Williamsburg International
Airport is growing and is only 20 minutes away from Colonial
Williamsburg. Norfolk International Airport is also an option,
but traffic on the way to Williamsburg can be very heavy, so
we usually do not recommend it. Let the timing and best price
be your guide.
