We want you to be comfortable while you are here. Most participants bring shorts, t-shirts/collared shirts, and good walking shoes. While sandals are also great, the streets in Williamsburg have pebbles and sand that may irritate. You are not required to “dress up” for any event we host, including dinners.
At this time, the only facility with washers/dryers is a considerable distance from the Colonial Houses. You may haul your dirty laundry on the bus to the Woodlands Hotel and Suites, but most participants avoid doing so. The Colonial Houses do provide dry cleaning and laundry service. Cost depends on the items being cleaned. It usually takes less than one day to have your clothing cleaned and returned.
