If you are making your own flight arrangements, please schedule your flight to arrive before 5:00 pm on the first day of the Institute and depart on the final day after 3:00 pm.
When arriving at the airport, please be sure to bring your photo
identification and flight itinerary to the check-in counter. For
helpful hints on how to pack and what you can and cannot bring
through security, please see the Transportation Safety Administration’s
website at http://www.tsa.gov/.
Each airport has rental car and limousine services to help you get to Williamsburg.

Amtrak and Greyhound serve
the Williamsburg
Transportation Center, located a few blocks from the Historic
Area, with car rentals and a taxi service on site. You may
also call the Colonial
Houses,
(757) 220-7978, to request shuttle service from the center;
you will be responsible for providing the gratuity for this
service.
From Interstate 64, take exit 238 onto Route 143 East. Follow
Route 143 to the second traffic light and bear right onto Route
132 (Henry Street). Continue on Henry Street across the Historic
Area. At the third traffic light, turn left onto Francis Street.
