Slave by his houseYou're a slave at the Thompson household in Williamsburg. You wish you had the freedom to travel and see more of the world. But, as a slave, you cannot even leave your master's house without permission.

Nevertheless, Sunday is generally accepted to be the day of rest. Most masters turn a blind eye if you slip away Saturday evening as long as you are back and ready for work at dawn on Monday. After a long day of work one Saturday, you decide to slip away for the night. You want to visit your wife and children, who are owned by Carter Burwell at Carter's Grove, some eight miles away.
