Loyalty or Liberty?

En route to slave gathering: November 1775

Someone behind a treeTraveling on foot, you leave Williamsburg for a Saturday evening slave gathering. Sunday is the only day of rest for most slaves, so, on Saturday nights, friends and families gather at local slave quarters to social, dance and sing.

You're startled when you hear a voice call to you from behind a tree.

"Psst....you there. Can you spare a crust of bread for a starving soldier?"

You stop and say:

I've learned a secret!
