Loyalty or Liberty?

James Anderson Blacksmith Shop: August 1775

Blacksmith talking
"My, you're awful curious!" Davis exclaims. "But I don't guess it would hurt to tell you. After all, who could you tell? Besides," he adds, "I'm not a political man. I'm satisfied to do my work and get my wages from Mr. Anderson, but I don't mind telling you that the Patriots are sending Mr. Anderson plenty of business lately, fixing those guns Lord Dunmore disabled."

You take the hoe from Mr. Davis. "Thank you, sir," you say, and leave the blacksmith shop. Have you learned a secret? Or do you want to continue to your next errand?

I've learned a secret!
