Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute Scholarships

Because of the generosity of many Colonial Williamsburg Foundation friends, their deep commitment and respect for teachers, and their knowledge of the teacher’s role in educating citizens and leaders of tomorrow, we are very pleased to announce scholarship opportunities to the 2013 Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute in American History. A cover page indicates which scholarships the application applies to; you only need to fill out one application unless otherwise noted. Madison and Surrounding Counties
Scholarships are available for four teachers who teach American history at the elementary, middle, or high school level in Madison and Surrounding Counties (this area includes CESAs 2, 3, and 5).  Applications were due on January 18, 2013. We are no longer accepting applications for this scholarship opportunity. Notification of scholarship awards will begin on March 4, 2013.

Milwaukee and Surrounding Counties
Scholarships are available for four teachers who teach American history at the elementary, middle, or high school level in Milwaukee and surrounding counties (this area includes CESAs 1, 6, and 7).   Applications were due on January 18, 2013. We are no longer accepting applications for this scholarship opportunity. Notification of scholarship awards will begin on March 4, 2013.

University of Wisconsin, Madison – Current Education Majors
Scholarships are available for two University of Wisconsin Education majors who plan to teach American history at the elementary, middle, or high school level.  Applications were due on January 18, 2013. We are no longer accepting applications for this scholarship opportunity. Notification of scholarship awards will begin on March 4, 2013.
