This year Colonial Williamsburg has added a literacy component for each Electronic Field Trip. These materials are drawn principally from primary sources-people of the past speaking "in their own words."

You will find some brief suggestions on how to use these primary sources in your classroom, as well as a .pdf version. Print out the .pdf version to create student hand-outs, overhead transparencies, or classroom notebooks.
