WILLIAMSBURG, in COUNCIL, April 6, 1779.
I do hereby with the advice of the Privy Council, recommend to the inhabitants of this state, to observe the first Thursday in May next, as a day of fasting, humiliation, and prayer, in the manner prescribed by the above proclamation. P. HENRY.
