WILLIAMSBURG, June 5, 1779.
Left at the armory in this city last week, one green case with a dozen bottles containing some rum and brandy, 1 1/2 yard fine oznabrugs marked with a pen RH, one pair of fine checks trousers, one striped handkerchief, and a pair of white thread stockings. The owner may have them again on paying the expense of this advertisement. GABRIEL MAUPIN.

Gabriel Maupin was a harnessmaker, tavern keeper and during the Revolution, Keeper of the Powder Magazine. He owned and operated Market Square Tavern next to the Powder Magazine which, at times, was referred to as the armory.
