Mr. James Parsons of Alexandria is hereby informed, that his servant man ANDREW KELLY, advertised to be run away in the last Gazette, was put into my custody last Sunday evening, and is now ready to be delivered to him, on paying charges. PETER PELHAM, K.P.J.

In the newspaper of September 20, Parsons advertised a reward of $6 for the capture of Kelly, an indentured Irish brickmaker. Peter Pelham, Williamsburg jailer, church organist, and father of a large family, contacted Mr. Parsons by way of the newspaper.
