The search for the next president and chief executive officer of The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is under way.
Working with the executive recruiting firm Storbeck/Pimentel, the Foundation has outlined the position requirements, benefits and challenges.
The Foundation announced in January that a management succession process had been initiated to effect an orderly transition of chief executive leadership.
According to the job description and requirements outlined by the search firm: “The Chief Executive Officer is expected to articulate the strategic vision of the institution so that it is perceived as ambitious, distinctive, and relevant to the interests and needs of constituents, including guests, visitors, donors, the Foundation’s employees and volunteers, and the greater Williamsburg and Virginia communities.”
