Gold Award Hall of Fame: Colonial Williamsburg’s Resort Collection named to 2009 Meetings & Conventions Gold Award Hall of Fame for maintaining consistent high standards for 12 or more consectutive years. One of 11 inductees in 2009, the resort has earned the magazine’s distinction of being among the finest meetings properties in the world. 

Gold Tee Award: Golden Horseshoe Golf Club was awarded the Gold Tee for overall excellence by Meetings and Conventions magazine for the eighth consecutive year.

Planners Best Bets Award: Meetings South readers, including national meeting planners throughout North America, recognized winners for best facilities, service elements and activities; 2005.

Award of  Excellence: Readers of Corporate and Incentive Travel magazine, made up of more than 40,000 meeting and incentive travel planners and key executives responsible for meeting decisions, selected the Williamsburg Inn as one of the facilities that best served their corporate meetings and/or incentive travel programs; 2000-2002, 2004.

Pinnacle Award: Successful Meetings magazine has presented the Williamsburg Inn with the prestigious Pinnacle Award for 22 of the 25 years of the award (2009).  Colonial Williamsburg’s Resort Collection has received the Pinnacle award every year since its inception, with the exception of years when the property was under renovation, and was inducted into the publication’s first ever Bronze Circle, recognizing properties that have received this recognition for 20 consecutive years.
