New Hospitality Suite Provides Gathering Spot for Military, Family and School Reunions

The Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel and Suites has long been a favorite for families, but the addition of a new hospitality suite has made it a favorite for reunions, too. Built in 2001, the contemporary, three-story hotel includes 96 suites and 202 guest rooms, all accessed from secure, interior hallways. The hotel features a spacious lobby and a number of recreational options including an outdoor pool, fitness center, miniature golf, walking trails, horseshoes and ping pong.

“The Woodlands conference center adjacent to the hotel has several large meeting and banquet rooms with beautiful woodland views as well as smaller rooms for more formal gatherings,” said Scott Coelln, senior conference sales manager. “The new hospitality suite inside the hotel provides an affordable and less-formal gathering place for members to reconnect during their reunion.”

Coelln reports that recent military reunions have included veterans of Vietnam and World War II. “The hotel offers plenty of free parking, complimentary WiFi in all public areas and guest rooms, free continental breakfast in the hotel lobby daily, free fitness facility onsite and free Colonial Williamsburg shuttle bus service – allowing us to offer a beautiful, affordable location for reunions,” added Coelln. “We can also arrange for color guard, tavern dinners, reduced green fees at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Course and discounted tickets to Colonial Williamsburg’s Historic Area and museums.”
