Peninsula Residents Pay for a Day, Come Back All Year

Colonial Williamsburg is offering residents of the Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Williamsburg and Yorktown, and York and James City counties an opportunity to visit the Historic Area and the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg for one full year for the price of a single-day ticket.

Through May 31, peninsula residents can purchase an annual pass for $37.95 for adults and $18.95 for youth ages six-17. The full price of an annual pass is $58.95 for adults and $29.50 for youth ages six-17. The annual pass is good for a full year from the date of purchase.

Colonial Williamsburg annual pass members enjoy benefits including:

  • Unlimited access to Historic Area sites including 22 trade shops;
  • Tours of the Governor’s Palace, Capitol, R. Charlton’s Coffeehouse and Great Hopes Plantation;
  • Entrance to the DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museum that contains the Foundation's renowned collections of more than 60,000 treasures dating from 1600 through 1830, the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum that houses one of the finest collections of American folk art and Bassett Hall, the Williamsburg home of John D. Rockefeller Jr. and his wife, Abby Aldrich Rockefeller;
  • Revolutionary City®, the dramatic outdoor street theater program, Fifes and Drums parades and military drills;
  • The construction of Anderson’s Blacksmith Shop and Public Armoury that reflects the complexity and urgency of mounting a war effort against the world’s most powerful 18th-century nation;

  • More than 65 gardens;
  • 25 percent off tickets for most evening programs; and
  • Seasonal discounts on admission tickets for friends and family.

    Residents must simply present a valid ID with an address to confirm their residency in these areas to receive the discount. Offer cannot be combined with other sales, offers or promotions.
