Meet Author of Newly Published Ethan Allen Biography Oct. 9
WILLIAMSBURG Booksellers® features two book signings in early October at its location at 101 Visitor Center Dr., Williamsburg, Va.
Guests meet author Willard Sterne Randall and get a signed copy of his newest release, “Ethan Allen: His Life and Times” from 3-5 on Sunday, Oct. 9. A lecture on Ethan Allen follows at 5:30 p.m. in the Visitor Center Theater.
Willard Sterne Randall is professor of history at Champlain College in Burlington, Vt. Among his other books are biographies of Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and Alexander Hamilton, which will be available for sale in paperback. Hardcover copies of “Ethan Allen: His Life and Times” are available for $35.
William G. Hyland Jr. returns to WILLIAMSBURG Booksellers to sign copies of “In Defense of Thomas Jefferson: The Sally Hemings Sex Scandal” from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7. His book disputes evidence against the third president and claims he was innocent of his major historical condemnation – having relations with his slave, Sally Hemings.
