Jodi J. Nickinello Promoted to Director of Compensation, Benefits and HRIS at Colonial Williamsburg

Jodi J. Nickinello has been promoted to director of Compensation, Benefits and HRIS in Colonial Williamsburg’s human resources division. Her new responsibilities include development and administration of foundation-wide compensation programs and benefits plans as well as supervision of the computerized human resources information system.

Most recently, Nickinello served as the labor manager for the Colonial Williamsburg Company-Hospitality Group where she worked on numerous human resources issues and projects. She began her career at the foundation in 1996 and has fulfilled a variety of roles, including manager of the four dining taverns and resident manager of the Williamsburg Lodge.

She also planned and executed millennium festivities for the hotel properties and opened the Woodlands Conference Center and HUZZAH! a family friendly restaurant at the Woodlands Hotel & Suites.

“It’s exciting that we have someone who has made so many contributions to the foundation over the past six years,” said Laura Loda, vice president of human resources. “I’m happy to have somebody of Jodi’s capabilities join the human resources team.”

Prior to joining the foundation, Nickinello served as food and beverage manager for the Doral Beach Resort in Miami Beach, Fla.

Nickinello earned a bachelor’s degree in consumer and family studies from Framingham State College in Framingham, Mass. She also holds a Massachusetts Teacher Certification.

She and her husband Mark Bloom reside in Norge, Va.
