By popular demand, Scottish map lecture returns to DWDAM

John Hyman, research assistant and guest curator, will give an encore presentation of “Scotland Before the Tourist Came,” 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 8 in the Hennage Auditorium of Colonial Williamsburg’s DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museum.

“John is such a dynamic speaker that his first program was completely sold out,” said Mary Cottrill, manager of the Hennage Auditorium. “He has graciously agreed to give his lecture a second time due to the strong response we received and numerous requests from visitors.”

This lecture is presented in conjunction with the exhibition “At the Edge of the World: Mapping Scotland,” which is on view at the Wallace Museum through Dec. 1, 2002. The program is included in museum admission.
