Complimentary makeup sessions to be held June 30 at Spa of Colonial Williamsburg

The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg will hold a free makeup workshop from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at the spa, located at 307 S. England St. across from the Williamsburg Lodge.

Professional makeup artists will personally select age-appropriate TRUE cosmetics mineral makeup colors, shades and foundations for each guest. TRUE cosmetics serve the spa industry in the United States with cosmetics designed to reveal the inner beauty of the skin while providing protection and anti-aging benefits. The non-allergenic mineral makeup has an SPF of 17 and is “swim proof” for up to 80 minutes. Walk-ins are welcome, or call 757-220-7720 to schedule a complimentary appointment for a preferred time.

The spa is conveniently located near the Williamsburg Inn, the Williamsburg Lodge and the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club. The 20,000-square-foot spa includes indoor and outdoor pools, a complete fitness facility, private lounges, men’s and women’s locker rooms, whirlpool, a conservatory salon and spa dining for guests of the spa. The site is the former location of the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum, entered by way of a wisteria-covered arbor next to a formal garden and fountain.
