Teacher Resources

Welcome to Colonial Williamsburg's Electronic Field Trip "Washington: Man and Myth." You and your students will have the opportunity to meet George Washington, the "father" of our country as he remembers his early years as a young soldier and politician in Virginia and recalls some of the important lessons he learned as a young man.

Colonial Williamsburg Electronic Field Trips place a vast number of materials and resources at your fingertips. Please feel free to use these resources in whatever ways best suit you and your students. We have tried to collect some suggestions, some from Colonial Williamsburg historians and educators, others from teachers who have used Electronic Field Trips successfully around the country. You can access these suggestions by clicking on the teaching icon wherever you see it online.

If this is the first time you have used Colonial Williamsburg's Electronic Field Trips we suggest that you begin by clicking on the "Tips for Teachers" on this page's menu so that you can gain an overview of all the resources available to you and your students. You can access "Tips for Teachers" throughout the website by clicking on this icon: Tips for Teachers
