Recording artist Ben Lee featured artist in second installment of Skookum Music Series at CW's Kimball Theatre

Recording artist Ben Lee will celebrate the first birthday of 92.3 FM The Tide on Saturday, May 6 at Colonial Williamsburg’s Kimball Theatre. Refreshments, including birthday cake, will be served between 6 and 7:30 p.m. Lee will perform at 8 p.m. The concert is part of the Skookum Music Series.

Lee’s tunes are portraits of ideas and emotions that often transcend the boundaries of their creator. He sings about his observations on life, love and the universe. His new album, “Awake is the New Sleep,” features the Tide hits “Catch My Disease” and “Gamble Everything for Love.”

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at The Tide studios, 5000 New Point Road, Ste. 2102, Williamsburg, at the Kimball Theatre or by calling 1-800-HISTORY.

The Kimball Theatre, located in downtown Williamsburg’s Merchants Square, is owned and operated by The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, the not-for-profit educational institution that operates the restored 18th-century capital of Virginia.
